Default Which Tensioner?

Hi guys. Im a bout to replace the Cooling fan, timing belt and water pump on my 1990 Celsior. However there are 2 kits I see all over the place, one with a hydraulic tensioner and one with a bearing tensioner. Which one is the right one? They both say they fit my year.

they do, get the one with a hydraulic tensioner, it will come with the bearing tensioner also and you will do a better job.. you might do a search and learn what you are doing, sounds like you dont really understand...

Thanks for the tip. This is my 3rd timing belt job but my first on this car so maybe reserve judgement on what I do and don't understand. I am simply trying to ensure I purchase the correct kit.
I'm guessing the Hydraulic tensioner is the pin pull one? I've had success just recompressing them in the past during a belt change. I may just buy the kit that comes with it but I'm more likely to just buy what will be here sooner.

Default Timing Tensioner Bearing And Idler part #s

Hi guys. I found a timing belt kith with water pump locally for 100 AUD. The guy only used the Tensioner bearing and Idler out of the kit. I am thinking of picking this up if I can find the other parts separately and the total is less than 320 AUD.

Does anyone know the part numbers for thes. I found many kits but they all seen to come with extra parts ie, timing belt, seals etc

In the interest of not cluttering up the forum you prob should have used your existing thread from yesterday instead of starting a brand new thread with no info on what year model etc.
You can't just assume ppl saw yesterdays post re timing parts...
Start here and use the parts listed as a refernce-
