A few questions:
1. What are the rims made of. Looks like aluminum that might be painted and clear coated to me. Is this right?
2. How do you care for them?
3. Mine looks pitted (no rusted) on the concave holes and "cloudy" on the faces. Is this a sign to have them refurbished?
4. How does one refurbished these wheels?

I have no idea what it would cost to refurbish a set of rims but it will obviously cost something. You might be surprised what you can find on eBay or in a salvage lot...

It probably varies by year.
On my '91, the 15" wheels were chrome-plated Aluminum. About 5+ years ago, I got a crack in one of them, causing a slow leak. Having read on here about how these wheels tend to become porous over time, allowing air to leak through, I just replaced all of them. But others, I think, somehow sealed the flaking / porous Aluminum surface.
