Default Do the circuits power cycle in the LS400?

So I am trying to figure out what is up with the new dash cam I got. It is supposed to record in parking mode when I turn off the car, however, the camera turns its self off and on kicking it out of parking mode and going in timelapse mode. I did talk on the dash cam site and was told the circuits may power cycle.

Here is a fuse diagram
https://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/d.../sect6/640.pdf

I am using fuse 10 for when the car is on and fuse 14 for power when the car is not on/running. Do any of you know if the circuits are power cycling?

The car is a 96 LS400

Thanks

I don't know what you mean? The problem is as simple as does the camera need a constant 12v power supply or what? If so then you need a reliable point to connect to 12v.
Then I suppose there is a connection to something that tells it that the key is on? What is a power cycle? The system turning off then on???? So where is your constant 12v supply connected to?

The issue was with the hard wiring kit. For some reason, it would cut power and power back on causing the camera to drop out of parking mode.

What I meant by power cycle is a lot of new cars are all computers and sometimes the car will put some things into sleep mode or reboot them for maintenance. Since the LS400 was ahead of its time I was wondering if it did this too. The constant power is plugged into fuse 14 which is the STOP LP fuse. Power, when the car is on, is fuse 10 which is the RR CIG.

Is the fuse tap oriented on the proper side?

Do you mean the 2A fuse is closest to the camera's cable and the fuse from the fuse box is closer to the side where you plug it in? If so yes

Or do you mean the orientation on how its plugged in?
