So I talked to a guy today about rolling my fenders before I do the drop. He told me. "Rears can only be shaved, fronts need to be shaved before rolling." is that the case truly? I thought the rears could be rolled too.
I'm running 19 x 8.5 @ +38 all corners
But I may be swapping the rears out for a 19 x 9.5 @ +40

that is correct but others still have tried to roll, and I'm sure it was a pain!
the rears are double layered with metal and rolling something that thick is very difficult and has a high possibility of paint cracking and/or a poor roll!
the reason the front needs to be shaved first is due to the trim tab holes.
if you remove the fender arch trims, you'll see that the screws goes into clips which are in square holes at the edge of the fender.
these holes are weak points and if you try to roll there without trimming it first, it will buckle and you'll get bacon fenders!
if you're in southern cali you've probably talked to tony the fender rolling expert.
what you quoted above is EXACTLY what his recommendation was to me when he did my fenders, front and rear.

Yeah I got a quote from another guy and he stated LS fenders can't be rolled and have to be shaved.
I'm in the I.E. outside of LA. Trying to find a guy to do this work that is fairly priced.
One shop said they charge $30 per fender
Another guy wants $300 to shave and roll (this includes his gas to drive out)
Another guy want's $120 out the door to shave all fenders. This one seems to be the best deal and he has awesome reviews.
