Lextreme still around?
I'm looking to confirm if Lextreme is still around.
His site is full of broken links and old data. His forum appears to on longer be there (Domain now parked and for sale by presumably a 3rd party).
On 1st Aug I purchased an LCD from his site. The Paypal transaction went through, but no contact and no product (yet), although I'm not too surprised by that cos I expect 4-6 weeks delivery as I'm in Australia. Its currently about 5 weeks (30 Days).
I purchased an LCD screen from this URL http://www.lextreme.com/lcdtech.html and I'm just a little concerned he may have simply dropped support for these cars completely, but left the site up.
No answer to an email I sent. Anyone got an email address he may still monitor? Phone number? Any way of contacting him?
If I cant get hold of him, I'll leave it as long as I can then I'll have to raise a dispute on Paypal.
I dont want to do that... I really want the product, but I'm starting to think that maybe he has gone or he is no longer interested.
Understandable, according to his website, he no longer owns a Lexus.
Help! Have I just tossed my money ($190 USD) into the wind?
Thanks.

Thanks Yamae.
That facebook Lextreme is a South Africa based company (www.lextreme.co.za). I believe the Lextreme mentioned here (www.lextreme.com) is an American based person or company. I have emailed lestreme.co.za to ask if they are also lextreme.com or in some way affiliated with them. In the mean time, I'll keep searching.

After making a little fuss yesterday and today, I received my money refunded by Paypal. No word, no notification of any kind. Just Paypal saying I had paid $190 to paypal@lextreme.com on 1 August and that on 31 Paypal had returned the full amount. I had not requested it. I had not raised an issue with paypal. I have not actioned anything on paypal to do with this account.
Disappointed but thats how it goes. I'll try and find the pinouts for the LCD and make something else work. LCD screens cant be that hard to wire up. It looks simply like 1 ground and a power lead for each LCD Segment.
I'll probably 3D print something to make it all look as original as I can.
