Hi guys. So for the last 12 mo this I have been replacing a ton of things on my 1990 celsior.
Today after the forest start in about 3 weeks the car would sputter for a short moment after hitting peak revs. Did it at 2.5, 3 and 4 k after it warmed up.
Basically as I hit the desired revs and release the throttle it would sputter and the CEL would flash on. A few minutes later and the problem was gone.
Any ideas?
Car has a good ecu, afm, serviced injectors, new fuel pump and filter, new leads, caps, rotors and plugs etc. Car also just hi 100,000 kms so about 60k miles

Sounds like the fuel pressure is insufficient right after the peak fuel consumption. I'd check the resistance of the fuel pump resister, the voltage drop there or the fuel pressure.
Is your car keeping the supplied voltage to the fuel pump higher than 7V when the relay is not bypassing the resistor?

I'll check resistance tomorrow after work. The issue goes away completely after the gar is running for a few minutes.
It could just be an insufficient pump. It was bought new from a parts store locally but it's not oem. Same specs as oem tho.
I also notice that on first start it splutters to start. Then I turn off the key, start again and it fires up immediately.
