Can anyone read Japanese or know what the stamp on this ECU is?

Default Can anyone read Japanese or know what the stamp on this ECU is?

It has obviously been reprogrammed in 2016 (the last two numbers are 16) and curiously, in Japan. Anyone have ANY idea what company this could have come from or even what it means? I'm just really interested. Really looks like it was re-done in Japan.

You mean it's not July 90th, 2016???
It was easier back in the 20th century to figure out dates where the order varied by country. Much tougher now. I similarly try to figure out the date code on a part I remove to see if it's original or not.
Here's another one - on my oldest car, I can tell if the part is original if it says Made in West Germany, vs. just Germany (or some other more-EU, more-global source).
