The old car alarm deal
I remember the old posts about how to deal with a green wire on the older gen 1's to disable the alarm system. I think I have figured out a real easy way to disable it.
What I have done to make sure it won't come on is to not latch the hood. I have not yet tried it, but I'm thinking just unpluging the hood latch switch should do it. And this may work on the newer gens as well. When the hood, trunk, or doors are ajar, the alarm will not set, so forget cutting a wire, this should work just as good. Oh and I think the main reason for any alarm going off problems is because one of those switches has a problem.
