Pricing Information
I'm not going to ask what my car is worth as most forums frown on this. I do however want to ask for some thoughts on where to find some pricing info on my car...its a one owner, 1993 LS400 with ~65K miles on it in excellent condition. My gut tells me its worth more than the figures you find at CarMax and on KBB, but I'm just not sure where else to look. Any thoughts are appreciated - Thanks!

This may be of some help:
https://www.edmunds.com/lexus/ls400/...praisal-value/
We don't mind discussing pricing, just if it turns into a FS in the discussion section then we move to classified or delete.

Best thing is to look at comparable cars on CL, cars.com and such and see where yours fits. In the end, it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. For some buyers, it may be worth more than others.
And yes, a low mileage car like that with good records and in great condition may be of more value to an LS400 enthusiast than to your average car buyer.
Your task is to get it visible to people that are looking for just that type of car and willing to pay more for the low miles/great condition.
Good luck.

Check NADA. That’s what insurance companies use for values. LS400 values are challenging because there aren’t many left. Especially nice lower mileage ones.
i agree with Legender also. I paid more than most would for a 33,000 mile, like new car (this was almost 3.5 years ago) because of the value it had to me.

When checking CL, realize that the cars you see there have not been sold yet, so they may be priced too high.
Also, yes, with cars this old, the value can double or triple from the lowest to highest, purely based on maintenance and any required repairs.

Its worth what the local market will pay.Like Oldskewel states above.
Uncle was a loan officer, home appraiser for a Bank.He would go out to see house knowing what amount they wanted the loan for.If it didnt seem too far off from the comparable homes he would appraise it at the loan they needed.
