Default 99 LS400 - A1 Cardone Strut replacement - opinions

Guys - I know that the A1 Cardone brand for remanufactured stuff is spotty in terms of quality.

But they do manufacture brand new struts assemblies for our LS400 front ends and rear shocks, and I ordered and received a full set as I go front to back
and am refreshing the suspension on the car all around.

I was curious if anyone had any experience with these A1 Cardone Strut Assembly parts and what the ride is like. For example, on other brands like Bilstein, they are nice, and durable but sort of stiff.
Anyone who has had Bilstein's knows what I am talking about. I believe KYB was the factory strut on the car, but they were nearly twice the money. Of course, they ride wonderful, smooth and seamless and were well suited for
this Luxury Sedan.

I am just curious about the A1 Cardone Strut Assemblies? Any voices of experience out here who can offer an opinion?

Thanks in Advance for your feedback.

I have used A1 Cardone front left brake caliper and I don't like it because recently I inspected it and the rubber boot that cover's the piston is off. Regardless, I would recommend never to use any manufactured parts. I have got all four KYB struts/shock absorbers from autoanthying for 200 dollars. Only remanufactured alternator is fine. You may end up spending money twice if you use re-manufactured parts.

my 99 LS400 still has the original shocks 224k, but I drive slow (I am 84) and am not hard on a car.. FAST: starting, turning and stopping is what gets them..
when my starter went "click click" I inspected it and the solenoid was pitted... bought new Lexus solenoid kit no more trouble ..that was July of 2010, it is still going strong today.. over 8 years.. use KYB
