Default POLL: 91 or 94

I have a 91 and a 94 LS 400. I'm planning on getting them fixed up, basic maintenance, some missing pieces and cosmetic BS. I want to sell one and keep the other.

91: 227k miles, grey on grey, heated seats, selectable TRAC
94: 285k miles, black on black, no notable options.

I'm partial to the 94 mostly because it's black on black. But the options o the 91 have me questioning.

Black color is great if the climate is freezing cold year round and no sun. Otherwise I hate black, it shows all the imperfections, and is hotter than heck. Its called black body radiation. I also hate white for a car but in the sun it is the cooler color. 91

Well, I currently live on the coast in Oregon. It's like always 50°-60°F. But I lived in South Carolina for 15 years before here and still owned black cars. Not sure why, but I wear a lot of black as well. However, valid points.

Your 1994 looked like it was in significantly better shape, plus the car has a cabin air filter which the 1990-1992 models did not have. I would go with the car that has less body damage and rust, which seems to be your 1994.

Check out common areas for rust, such as the rear dog legs (in front of the rear wheels at the bottom of each side), as well as around the wheel arches. The dog legs are also covered by plastic rocker covers on the 1993+ models, while the 1990-1992 only have an anti-chip texture coating over the metal, so make sure to look more carefully on the 1994.

However, if traction control is a feature that you would really like to have, then that could be a deciding factor. I've never felt the need for heated seats, so that's not something I'd factor into my decision.

If I did a deep inspection I'd say both cars are in equally bad shape. I'll check those dog legs tho. Also, I'm fixing both regardless. The question is which should I KEEP.
The 94 has a TRAC throttle cover and a TRAC light that comes on, but no selector? Is that a common thing?

Part of my issue is I also love heated seats. OH THE HUMANITY OF IT ALL!!!
