Default OEM Parts- Amayama Trading Co. Ltd-Your Experiences

Curious what it was like for you ordering from them? Seems good prices.
I ordered a pair of wiper blades for 26 dollars with shipping on November 5,it left Japan today November 9.Due November 25. I used their cheapest mailing option. So far so good if you arent in any hurry.

I have ordered from them 3-4 times, never a problem, comes well packed, not "overly packed"
Some parts are a LOT cheaper than here in US, some are almost the same, have to compare...

Ive noticed doing purchase research that some parts considered to be 'unobtanium' are listed on their site, with good prices too.I havent ordered any to verify its really in stock, but they claim it is.If you cant find a part anywhere it may be worth your time to give them a look.

Well I'm not sure about the US, but here in the UK we have the thieving Customs to deal with, where they make the Post Office seize your goods before delivery and not release them until you've paid a ransom - a.k.a. "duty". (As if it's your duty to be extorted, somehow.) The fact that you may not be able to get those parts through the UK supply chain is neither here nor there. Plus, they charge "duty" on shipping as well as the value of the goods. And after all that, there's not a lot of difference in price. In my case they overcharged (even by their standards); I still had to overpay to get my parts, and then claim it back in retrospect.

Yes, they really did have my lower ball joints!

None of this is Amayama's fault of course, but it was not a good experience.

I'd say that Amayama is doing the business well and quite authentic but sometimes you need to wait. The page below will give you some ideas.
https://expeditionportal.com/forum/t...rience.190738/

JDM cars were mostly made in Japan using mostly JDM parts but there are many exceptions these days. The global economy is changing rapidly.

I find some Toyota parts now not made in Japan some even in China.

Toyota had once used piston rings made in China and those have caused many serious problems in the market.

I have used Amayama two times and their service has been flawless.
They seem to have some hard to get oem parts.
Parts were great and seemed true OEM to me. Shipping was a bit pricey to sweden.
A bit worse then from the US.

Before ordering from these guys I wanted to confirm... Are they only selling OEM Lexus/Toyota parts? I'm mainly looking to buy the UCA and LBJ from these guys but probably a lot of other stuff for my suspension refresh if they're OEM parts at those prices. Thanks in advance.
