OK. That sounds much better. And Michelins on these cars are a great combination. Good luck with the sale. Hope a Lexus enthusiast finds it. The Carmax deal would be a crime IMHO.

I had a ClubLexus member track down my Craigslist posting. He drove three hours to see and bought it. My wife felt good that someone bought it that would take care of. That's the emotional part of selling a car that you have had for 16 years...Carmax..you missed out.

Thanks for everyones help.

This is the clean, well-cared for version that everyone is always looking for.
Looks like original brake fluid as well, from the pictures.

You can't judge the liquid by that picture, I just changed my brake fluid and from 6 feet away it looks just like that picture, the container is semi-opaque...
If it was services by Lexus, I am sure they changed the fluid multiple times.

Hey everyone! Once I saw this post and the location of the car, I knew I had to make priorities to see this car in person and ****** it up. It drives as beautifully as it looks. Richard took very good care of it over the past 16 years. It needs a couple maintenance items here and there, but once sorted, it'll be the perfect car.

Here are some pictures I snapped last night soon after I purchased it:

I'm convinced these forums are the best place to sell these old Lexus' as buyers typically know what they're looking for, what to ask, and what a good deal looks like without bending the seller over.

Congrats to both of you!

Nice to get priorities straight. Congrats on the purchase. Glad to see it went to someone here. (someone that knows and cares about it's value) I usually don't like the 98-00 but something about that one does it for me. To bad I wasn't closer to snag it before you.
