This is the fluid I used: The 12 pack is even cheaper, but I wanted to show the actual bottle.
This site has the manual: https://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/

When I got my car I noticed that the previous owner had taken it to an independent garage and had a transmission fluid change. They used some off brand fluid, and on top of that they added some bull**** called BG A/T Conditioner. I immediately ordered a case of T IV from Amazon and over a period of 3 days I changed out 12 quarts (drain, refill, drive 30 miles, drain, refill, etc). I plan on doing it again this spring when the weather warms up. My fluid looks way better than when I got the car and it shifts beautifully!

I swear by Toyota T-IV ATF only, and lots of folks here will agree.
12 qt is only for a "flush" over the course of a few days as fit1too stated.
most driveway mechanics don't have the complicated fluid transfer system so we are forced to do drain/fills over time manually.
a drain of the pan will only remove the fluid in the pan, where about 80% of the fluid is still inside the system such as the valve body, torque converter, cooler, etc.
you have to do drain then fill and repeat to get most of the fluid cycled out.
it took me 12 qts to remove and replace the ATF, and I'm certain I still did not get all the old fluid out but at least most of it.
by the way you don't have to drive the car to flush (I didn't but it helps).
I just disconnected one of the ATF lines running to the radiator and drained about a quart of fluid by running the engine which pumps the fluid through.
shutting off the engine stops the flow, then add equal amounts of new ATF that was removed through the dipstick, and repeat until ATF is transparent red (or in my case until I ran out of new ATF).

Cycling the fluid out like Timmy mentions is If draining from the pan in multiple sessions use the fiber washers instead of the aluminum crush type. That way you won't be getting such short use between drains on the washer. Lexus charges $1.25-$2.50 for them. Toyota was $.75 but a pack at the auto parts store in the correct ID-OD size is way less.

Hey guy, just a heads up. The link I provided earlier was for a 6 pack. I used it because it actually showed what a single bottle looked like. Here is the link for the 12 pack
