Am I missing a hose or two under hood? Pics attached...
Please forgive my ignorance with regard to the finer aspects of vehicle engines. I知 pretty good with some mechanical things, like fixing the lcd screens or tilt steering wheel, but I知 afraid I知 no help under the hood.
Recently I was looking underneath my 1991 LS400 - trying to get a better look at my failed exhaust system - and I noticed these two places where it seems like a hose should go, yet there痴 nothing there. The one on the right side (yellow not green) even looks like it痴 been snapped off.
So, I hope you guys here at Club Lexus can help me out. Is this anything to worry about ? Is there something missing underneath there ? I have circled the two spots in question in the attached pics. I知 guessing that even if something is missing, it must not be too important, as I致e driven it like this for approximately 25k miles (unless, of course, something I hit on the road knocked anything off).
Many thanks in in advance for any assistance and / or pointers.

WOW those early cars look so different after all these years!
One of the hoses is the drain hose attached to the radiator petcock. Perfectly normal to point straight down and be open on the bottom end.
Not sure about the other one, get a good light and try to get look from above...

bradland is correct, one is the radiator drain.
the other I'm pretty sure is the expansion drain for the coolant overflow tank.
to make sure you can follow the hose and see where it leads. if its the coolant tank then that's normal.
there is also an open hose where the A/C condensation (water) escapes but that is closer to the catalytic converters.

As bradland and timmy0tool explained, those are drain hoses for different components of the car, and are perfectly normal
Originally, they're meant to stick out of or drain onto slots in the engine undercover/splash shield/air dam. This cover is functional, as it prevents debris and road grime from spreading in the engine bay and helps with aerodynamics.
If you're interested, a 1995-1997 cover will fit after slight modifications.
