I like the walds as well actually. The price difference between seta is ridiculous though, I found 2 sets of walds for between 700 to 900 and then these are 3500. Wtf https://www.ebay.com/i/264179988079?chn=ps&ul_ref=https%253A%252F%252Frover.ebay.com%252Frover%252F1%252F711-117182-37290-0%252F2%253Fmpre%253Dhttps%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.ebay.com%25252Fi%25252F264179988079%25253Fchn%25253Dps%2526itemid%253D264179988079%2526targetid%253D483853162787%2526device%253Dm%2526adtype%253Dpla%2526googleloc%253D9060039%2526poi%253D%2526campaignid%253D1698888467%2526adgroupid%253D65736218829%2526rlsatarget%253Daud-622524042958%253Apla-483853162787%2526abcId%253D1139396%2526merchantid%253D6296724%2526gclid%253DCj0KCQiA2L7jBRCBARIsAPeAsaN5gMD8fQolI7wZxaOfkE2lzCh1v5vnWyXcHcWM1oUO8mBvKdkHjwAaAtyTEALw_wcB%2526srcrot%253D711-117182-37290-0%2526rvr_id%253D1869174303184%2526rvr_ts%253D185b7d831690aca704a426defffe3a8c

awww... are you about to start messing with your lovely stock LS?
i had the mess with the wheels and suspension phase too so i guess i can't complain when others do lol, but seriously my nearly 8 years of having this car has taught me it's best to just leave things alone haha

It's Toyota's fault for creating such a perfect canvas for vehicular self expression.
I will say tho that using coil overs and low profile tires created a whole ton a vibrations and rattles after a while in my 1990

but i think toyota created just that, the perfect canvas... that's why i've always said take something like a cadillac or buick, which isn't very good to begin with, and put the big wheels and slammed suspension on that since not much is really being ruined
anyone who wants to put overly big rims on a car doesn't really care about how well a car drives, just like someone who buys a cadillac or buick, so idk why someone wouldn't just get the caddy
i mean this looks basically like the LS, but it's for people who don't value superior driving dynamics and build quality, (not saying there's anything wrong with that) so it's not like you'll be missing out on too much by making one of these a "canvas for expression" lol

Not sure where I'd find a caddy here in Australia.
the ls400 with coilovers drives awesome. I prefer it to the floaty stock system.
the issue I am referring to is the 30 year old plastic clips on trim pieces not liking the stiffer ride.
I have 20 inch wheels on mine. I would prefer a set of 18s with more rubber.
I hardly feel that the stock ls had superior driving dynamics. Just superior comfort. Also, keep in mind .that most people who throw on coils aren't doing so to perfectly preserved examples. If I had one in 9 out of 10 condition, I wouldn't touch it.

They should last just as long as they would have otherwise if you loosen the mounts and adjust the angle of the UCA for the lowered ride height before tightening them back down. Height doesn't mean anything so long as the bushings are neutral when it's sitting still.
