The weather finally broke and I was able to install my trunk cargo net. The sales brochure for my 98 model lists the cargo net under ‘options, accessories’, but I was unsure of where and how to install it (or where to even get one). Going by the one I got for our 1999 RAV4, I knew it needed to be 40”x12” (roughly). I purchased mine on eBay for $3.25 plus $4.00 for shipping. The seller advertised it as fitting the 2007-2012 RX350. The ad did not list the actual measurements, so I asked the seller to measure it and send me the numbers. I had extra attachment posts (tie-downs), so I did not have to purchase those. They have an adhesive backing, which helps to ensure a secure mount. Just above the spot where I attached my posts are the black push pins that hold the black trunk trim in place. I would have preferred removing the OEM push pins and using those holes with a different set of attachment posts that I have, but the holes were not big enough. I really did not want to modify anything on the car, but of course did drill 2 holes in the trim to accommodate the screws used to attach the posts. The top part of the cargo net has elastic that loops around the attachment posts and the lower bottom clips that are attached to the cargo net itself clip onto the bottom grey trunk lining pieces, which helps keep it in place.

I have the exact same net...has a gold Lexus logo on a black plastic tag.
Here is the image of attachment post you are seeking as used in place of black plastic push in clip.
It incorporates an insert molded sheet metal screw type fastener, so it is snugly screws in place.
I don't see any on auction, which is how I got mine. There are 2 'Buy it now' offerings for less than $25 (with free shipping), but you would have to ask them for the actual measurements: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Use-OEM-Lex...frcectupt=true https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-RX350...Condition=3000
The one for $24.95 looks just like mine, but I would double check on the size. You want 40-41" x 12-13" for a snug fit so it won't sag in the middle when it is installed.
my net came with the car?? 10 years ago, we use it some but with the plastic baggies now days we use the fold up boxes..
measures 44 inches side to side (hooks) and is 14 inches deep (all is approx)
