'94 LS400 won't start, and cooling Fan missing 2 nuts, and more.
This week I bought a LS400, however there are more problems then what I anticipated.
1.The car doesn't start. When I came to take a look at it, the car started, but ran poorly, I test drove it around the block. It seems to crank well, but does not run for more than 30 seconds. Pusing the gas pedal only accelerates the car dying. Not sure if it is the relay or fuel pump or fuel filter or something else either electronic or fuel related. I suspect that he used starter fluid to get it going.
2. The cooling fan is not attached to the engine it came in the trunk but is missing 2 nuts and I don't know the part number for these. The car overheats, and the seller stated that it would not if the fan was installed
3. Disatached stuff in the engine bay due to previous owner trying to work on the car. What I believe is the radiator overflow/resivoir is not attached to anything, most likely the part is in the trunk with the fan. Don't have the nuts or bolts for this either.
4. Exhaust is dragging on ground, I think cat is still attached but the muffler and pipes fell off/got cut off/ got stolen before purchase of the car. Haven't got it jacked up yet but I have a picture from the side.
Additionally
I thought the guage cluster was broken, but it decided to work yesterday. Idk if it is a bad circut board, or indicative of other problems.
Any advice is appreciated. Also advice on what order to tackle the problem is appreciated as well. Uploaded some photos now and some more later when I get home.
Bought the car because it was cheap, trying to fix as budget friendly as possible. Also trying to get registered and smogged in a month because california. Exhaust dragging Parts that came with the car
Thanks in advance.
Here is the engine bay. Radiator Resivoir not attached to anything, not sure if it uses clips screws or bolts or what part number they are either. The engine is misfiring, will try to diagnose this weekend.
