1998 -2000 LS400 incorporated cruise control into the ECU, therby dispensing with necessity for separate cruise control actuator and cable as used on 1990 - 1997 LS400.

The absence of this actuator (and plastic top cover) leaves a pocket behind the right wheel well where it resided on previous model years.

While canvassing a pick n pull yard, located a 1995 LS400 with the cruise control servo, bracket and cover...so acquired, sans actuator, the bracket, hardware and plastic cover and installed on my 1999 LS400.

Direct fit...and solved another problem.
..the factory did not plug the bracket mounting holes in the exposed fender well area, , so observed more dust in this area of engine compartment...and these holes ingress tire noise.

This area is vacant in 1998-2000 LS400, so it tends to collect dust and dirt bevause the oblong mounting holes for the cruise control assembly were not plugged.
