My Belove 97 Lexus LS400 Just Made The 250K Miles Milestone
Just wanted to share w/ you guys my 97 Lexus LS400 has just made the 250K miles milestone today. I have owned her for 21 years. She still looks great & drives like a champ. Original paint & engine doesn't burn any oil at all.

I have 6 cars & beside the 92 Honda Civic Si Hatchback (also in tip top shape), she's the 2nd oldest in the fleet. She doesn't cost much anymore but I still love her the most. Toyota has got it right w/ these Lexus LS400's. It took them 6 years in the making (bench-marked the world luxury automobiles & refined their design) before they rolled out the very 1st LS400 in 1990 & the rest is history. These cars are simply beautiful & truly state-of-the-art automobiles.

Like some of you, I have an attachment issue. I love cars so I keep on buying them & very seldom will let any of them go. I do most of the maintenance myself once the warranty is over as I don't trust the mechanics I don't know well. Last year, I've got lucky & acquired another 2000 Lexus LS400 with only 45K miles & in pristine condition. My oldest son loves the car so much, I ended up giving it to him. Here are a few pics of the 2nd Lexus & some of my other cars.

My God, the leather in that Lexus looks brand new. It must be the climate there. Sweet rides!

Yes, the previous owner was an elder gentleman so he didn't drive the car much & always garage kept. He passed away & his son sold it to me. What surprise me the most is even after 19 years, the car still smell brand new & what has made me laugh the most is one of the friends was riding in the car, he thought it's an electric car because the engine is so smooth & super quiet. He couldn't believe it when I told him it's 19 years old. Like I've said, Toyota has got it right on our Lexus LS400's.
Here are some more pics of my other jdm's.

Very nice collection and thanks for sharing. I know, I know... no drooling allowed.
Not sure where you park all those cars to keep them so nice looking, but it's working for you.

Sometimes I wonder that myself. My wife at time complained that I have too many cars & suggested I should sell some of them. I told her "No way, Jose" & threatened to trade her in if she keeps complaining. Jk, she's a keeper too.
Anyway, I keep 2 in the garage, 3 on the driveway & 1 on the street & usually put car covers on all of them even the one on the street.

And of course a lot of owner attention. You can be proud of your collection. I cover my Lexus too. Many people say it is a hassle and end up letting their car sit out in the elements, but I've learned to do it quickly by myself unless it is windy out. It does make all the difference. If I can get my garage cleaned out this spring and summer, it will go in there. When my father-in-law moved to a senior living apartment, all his stuff ended up in my garage
