Default Correct brake pedal pad replacement

The rubber brake pedal pad on 1999 LS400 is in good shape for 20 years old and mileage, however it has slightly worn and somewhat age hardened so ordered a replacement from Lexus.

I purchased part number47121-50010 which was "made in Japan".

There is a superceding part that Toyota improvidently sourced that is junk (inferior rubber, poor fit, not profiled to curvature of brake pedal base, poor molding) and is "Made in Mexico"..do not accept part # 47121-07010
