Is this the culprit?

since you'll be down there anyway, i suggest doing the front sway bar bushings

it's honestly a very easy thing to do with an immediate noticeable improvement in handling, takes like 5 min to swap out the bushings (excluding getting it up in the air and removing the front splash shield)

I think I just found a solution to one of my two problems.
I'm glad I found your post, thanks. Will be swapping these out stat.

48815-50151 is what you want, roughly $50 for the set of 2 is more than worth it for how much replacing them improved things

Part number 48674-40051
Need 2 (same part number for both)
IF you have a press or can have someone do it for you. Clocked right tabs should be at 12 and 6 o'clock, if I am not mistaken.
Otherwise, replace the whole arms (left and right are different part numbers), less work, but more expensive part.
Those OEM bushings are liquid filled, like engine mounts too ( unlike many aftermarket bushings).
I pressed new ones in last fall, messed with old ones and that's how I know they are liquid filled
I am at 260K miles on my 99LS and changed those strut rods three times already - they last around 70K miles or less.

Thanks Valex, good info. I saved a youtube vid of a bushing change out.
You said 70k or LESS. I know this has been flogged but I gotta say it for discussions sake and understand I already have the oem bushings.
Would a high quality aftermarket liquidless bushing last longer? Affect the ride adversely, if so by a little or alot ?
