Default Found my color

Currently my 99 is old man tan. Not really bothered by color but seen too many of them. Only seen one of this color. But I may debadge, not feeling gold on green. Is it the same process to debadge? heat gun and goo gone the residue?

the gold on green looks great (in a geezer LS kind of way), but if you debadge you'll be left with holes in the trunk lid where the badges stuck into... and those badges are real metal too

Mine 99LS is green, I swapped gold to silver/chrome emblems, the whole set was a bit over $100 ( many years ago).

I thought you could powder coat only metal parts, am I wrong? Those nameplates and emblems are plastic.

are they plastic? they sure feel like metal... a few years ago my LS badge came off in the carwash, i ordered an 'oem replacement' LS 400 badge off ebay and that was a plastic pile of crap that was like literally the least precisely made thing i've ever held... after that ordered the real deal, it was considerably heavier and made a nice solid noise when you tapped it against something

I love the green LS. I've only seen one driving, but many pics. My 94 now is black jade and I'm the only one that can see the green tint in it. Everybody says I'm crazy. But the sun does need to be shining on it a certain brightness cuz the paint is so faded.
