Default Car died while driving, Dash lights, but no noise when turning key.

Whats up guys. I'm looking at buying a 1995 LS400 project car for $600. the guy said he was driving and it shut off and never turned on again. It's lowered on Megan coils, so I'm thinking maybe the tire cut into the wiring harness. But I am on here looking at other things that may cause this. The dash lights turn on, but when you turn the key it doesn't even try to start. I did use the search feature though and couldn't find much at all. Or when i do find something, it's that the car cranks but doesn't turn over. if you guys know what else might cause this please let me know. i also heard maybe its the alarm.

Sounds like the car was running on battery, alternator might have died.

Lol np, it might start but if the alternator is dead then it'll die. Another thing can be a dead battery but if that were the case the alternator would be taking over. Imo it's the alternator
But yeah even the 98 to 00 have that ps leak onto alternator issue.

i think i might offer 450 or 500. ive got the space for a project car and time on my hands so i figure **** it lol. theres also a ucf10 for $300 in Antioch CA i might go for instead cause it sounds a lot easier of a fix.

Ucf10 can be simpler and parts more bountiful. But I'd offer 400 for it. Maybe less considering what just happened lol

I would say alternator and/or battery issue as well.

Check these fuses in this wiring diagram as well. This is for the charging system for a 95 LS

Thought I was seeing double when I saw that diagram.
I would look towards the alternator being bad and not charging.
