My 1997 ls400 is throwing the following codes

p0300
p0301
where should I start
when the car cranks the idle is fine as soon as I start driving the car stutters and misses slightly then gets worse

Those codes could very well pointed to your fuel pump is on its way out. If not, it could be a vacuum leak, EGR malfunction, faulty ignition coil(s), spark plug(s) and/or wire(s).
