Actually condenser fan mystery
Yesterday, was driving with ac on, on freeway. Car started overheating. Noticed fan was not on with ac actually on. Tested by pulling the connector off the switch on dryer, fan comes on. Compressor clutch is disabled, then. Plugged it back in, and the ac compressor starts up, but the fan goes off. Shouldn't the fan be always on, when the actually is on?

I believe if should run when the AC is on, but I have not actually seen that in a manual. There should be relays and maybe a sensor for it as well. The relays in my 98 are under the driver's headlight. I saw mention of a sensor at the bottom of the radiator. Google 'LS400 no condenser fan with AC' or something like that and you will get results.
