Rebuilt brake calipers, new OEM rotors and pads.

The factory shim kit includes clips that mount to one end of the brake pad.

Whoever did last brake job didn't use these clips and was in such a hurry used silicone to affix wear sensor to pad,...

In relation to installed caliper, does anyone know whether clip is mounted top or bottom of pad?

The shop manual depicts images of part but not its orientation

Is mounting to top or bottom of installed pad?

Going by memory here, but pretty sure it's the bottom.
