Update: It has been a year and now this car has about 193500 KM’s, in the last year the timing belt, alternator and brakes have been replaced and the ugly rust is now gone as well. The paint still needs work but this car is now almost back to its original state.

Looks pretty good! Did you do the repairs yourself?

What happened to your trunk though?

It doesn't look like it broke the paint, so you might be able to get a PDR guy to pull the dent out, if it matters

The dent on the trunk was from the previous owner and my plan was to just buy a replacement, and I had one lined up same color and everything but it didn’t pan out so back on the hunt for one again, It actually broke paint, just covered it up. The alternator and rust repair was done at a shop, everything else my son and I did the work. It was unfortunate how neglected this car was still a work in progress but much better than how it was when I first bought it.

Damn! Well, hopefully it works out going forward. It's not the biggest deal. The car looks great

You definitely saved this one. Congrats
