Default Window went down and won't go back up.

Something tells me there may be a problem with the switch. Anyone have an extra master window switch for a 1991 LS?

Does the regulator motor seem to be working? My window recently took a crap and it was the regulator motor that stopped working.

Things are a bit more complicated, I think. A burnt switch means too much current going through. You also need to check the load as well as the switch. I'd suspect the regulator is locked up or the motor is dead. Sometimes a MPX door computer is partially dead.

Took the car into my mechanic to confirm a bad master switch, which they did. Said the motor and regulator were good. But they are having trouble finding a replacement part. It is NLA from Lexus and only junkyard parts available. I'm not having much luck looking online either for new, OEM equivalent. I see a few on Ebay for around $150, so that seems like where I'll end up.

Do you know if the 92 to 94 switch is compatible with the 91? Where are you located?

I looked it up and it looks like the 90 to 94 master switch are the same. I use Row52.com to find donor cars to pull parts from in my area. It looks like I have 3 near by, i might be able to drop by and check to see if they have one.
