I drove 45 mph home form Home Depot the other day with a load of supplies in a borrowed truck. At one point there were 7 people behind me on a 2 lane. I was not going to drop $350 worth of material on the highway. They eventually passed or turned off.

I did that with my first born fresh out of hospital

300 miles down... trip wasn’t to bad, some parts of the highway were rough but I coasted at 60 in a 70, got lots of looks. But I was able to achieve a high of 31.1 MPG, I went 300 miles on half a tank which was very nice.

Default Made it back

Okay so i made it back no problem, although the tie rods are getting considerably worse from the 600 miles. I don’t really buy parts so wanted to post this to see if anyone knows if those are correct or not, thank you.

Might be pricier from rock auto but I recommend there if oem is too much for your budget.

I am in the same boat as you kambam with my 97. Front end takes bumps horribly.
