Default Help diagnosing oil leak (pics + video)

Oil is dripping onto passenger side exhaust and burning up. Can anyone tell where this is coming from? I just did valve cover gaskets and front cam and crank seals.
Could this be rear cam seals or RMS ?

Did this just start after replacing the valve cover gaskets or was that an attempt to fix this? If this just started after the work was done I’d inspect the valve cover gasket all the way around. Maybe the gasket fell out of the valve cover groove in a spot and it was bolted down without being held in place correctly.

Otherwise, use an inspection mirror/flashlight from the top side of the engine bay and take a look at the camshaft bore plugs in the rear of the head. If you didn’t reseal those when doing the valve cover gasket they could be leaking as well.

Okay, so my old LS (99) had 330K miles on it and did the same thing, for me it was the valve covers leaking onto the exhaust manifold causing a smoke like the one in ur video, except way worse. My suggestion is check there, clean the area and see if it returns then you’ll know. Or buy one of those uv dye kits

Thanks for the reply guys. I’ll tighten the bolts down on the valve cover as I did the drivers side already. The gasket seats/shrinks a lot after install as the bolts felt loose after a couple weeks.
I used PepBoys gaskets as I didn’t have patience to ship oem..
ill report back with results

It’s the rear cam seals. But are they the same ones as the front or are they cap style?
Anyone have the part # for rear camshaft seals? And do i need 2 or 4 ?
