Since the GS300 also uses the a650e I found a deal. My buddy is gonna mod his newly acquired 2000gs for manual and is getting rid of his 98k mile tranny to me for 250. I said yes as long as it works. My question is will it work in my 99ls with no issues considering the power difference?

I've never owned a GS and my knowledge on them may be a bit sparse, but I thought only GS400 and 430's had V8's...?

Showed this to him dropped to 130. I took it as worst case it case we can take the planetary gears from it.

Luckily he didn't notice it was talking about the ucf10 tranny not the a650e

from my interpretation of what you said, you are trying to put your buddy's old 00 LS trans in your 99 LS. technically this should be fine!

Looks like we are gonna replace the bell housing and go from there. If not viable just swap the planetary gears. Theres also a newish guibo attached, itll replace the one in need of replacing. Not bad for 120.
