1999 LS400 whirring/whining/vibration sound
Hi Guys,
Long time no post. My LS400 has exhibits a loud vibrating sound whenever I park the car with the steering wheel turned to the right. It will only exhibit this sound when the car is being parked at a slow sleep with the breaks slightly engaged. Below is a video of the sound with my just turning the rotor. One thing to note about the front passenger side rotor is its resistance to turn. Unlike the driver's side front rotor, the passenger's rotor requires quite a bit of be applied before it spins at all. I'm thinking that the rotors might need to be replaced, but I am not 100 % sure on this.
Any Help Helps!

it could be your caliper that is sticking, with the pistons not retracting properly. They're supposed to have an amount of rollback when you let off the brake pedal. If you're seals are worn out or compromised and damaged, this won't allow the piston to retract, thus not allowing enough running clearance for when you're off the brake.

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I ended up going to my mechanic. Turned out to be a bad bearing or was it bushing. Either way, the passenger side wheel was loose in that it could go in and out. Didn't think about this the first time.

oh yeah that does make sense too. I forgot that also happened to my new bearing when I didn't seal the back well enough and salt/water got in there. Had a lot of resistance to turning, and ended up replacing the bearing again only 3k miles after installing the first one.
