Hello all,
I've been chasing a worsening stumbling problem at idle. Adjusting the (new)TPS helps a bit. It's got new ECU caps, plugs and wires (look) new, a new temperature sensor,MAF and throttle body have been cleaned.
Does it sound like this thing is missing on a cylinder?

From the tailpipe it definitely sounds like a misfire. The engine bay it sounds like a large tick. Usually #7 valve will have a tick which is normal but not that loud. You should check the plug wires even though they "look new". http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/ignition/sparkplugs.html Check if you have spark coming out of the plug wires. If one isn't sparking it could be the wire or the distributor cap, which is harder to get to. Hope you didn't clean that AFM cuz it's not supposed to be cleaned.
