What should I do with a '91 LS?
I have a '91 LS400 that the Lexus dealer says willl need front suspension work done in the near future. He also says the power steering pump is leaking and if I wait too long it can affect the alternator. Overall, he says, around $6K of work.
I have had the car for 7 years (now around 138,000 miles) and it seems to do real well. I put it on the market but cannot seem to even get $7K for it. I was hoping to upgarde to a 2001 or later model next year.
Should I wait (I cannot myself see or feel anything wrong with the car) or sell ASAP at any price I get?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

My first thought is that fixing your 91 will be much cheaper than upgrading to a 2001. Second, you got your price quoted to you at the dealer, always extremely overpriced. I recommend buying the parts online then finding a good mechanic to install them. If you do your homework and find the best deal on parts I would think you could cut that $6K estimate in half.
