Default Inexpensive lightweight solution to hood vibration damping

Visited Eastwood brick and mortar store in Alsip, Illinois.
Toyota uses dollops of flexible adhesive to join the upper and lower hood panel sections

The flexible adhesive appears to be in OK condition for twenty years old, but has lost some of its elasticity and there appears slight separation of adhesive at various points.

Trevor at Eastwood recommended Eastwood's High Solids Seam Sealer.

Several images;

Eastwood branded products are high quality.
Applied Eastwood Seam Sealer to fortify original hood adhesive joints. Did not anticipate this very noticeable improvement....
Will.wait for product to curestand report results.

Hey Yodaone, whats up with your 4.3 engine cover when you're posting in the 1-2nd gen LS forum? I'm not up to date on your mods. Did you put in a 3uz-fe (I doubt that) or retrofit a 3uz-fe cover to your 1-2gen LS?

Cooler is NOT better. Any acoustical advantage gained from extra damping is just gravy on top. Sorry for the late response to your post, but thanks for following up because I was genuinely curious.
