Default Many thanks to everyone!

Hey guys, just wanted to offer a big thanks to everyone here in the LS400 forum. I have learned so much in just over a year’s time. I learned what to look for when purchasing a used LS400, how to fix the little things that needed to be repaired on the model I chose, and I was able to share a little of my own experience along the way. My wife and I travel so much now with her business and I could not justify and/or stand to see ours sit under a cover all the time, so I used the classified section on this website and put it up for sale. A nice young guy from up north purchased it last week and flew in Saturday to pick it up. He left my home at 11:30 in the morning and drove 906 miles back to New England with only a 3-hour stop for sleep (I know from experience; you can do that when you’re young). He arrived at his house at 8:30 am on Sunday and texted me to state, “The car is fantastic, it drove back here beautifully. A perfect highway car.” I won’t be going anywhere though—I just purchased a 2000 RX300 to use on our travels, so I’ll be around!

My best to everyone!

Great glad the community has been so helpful and you've went into another Lexus.

that's nice of you to let someone else enjoy the car instead of just letting it sit, letting it go must've been sad

i'll miss you being my silver LS brethren haha, good luck with the RX (although history dictates you're now much more likely to cause many accidents)

Thanks guy! It is sad, I just haven't been thinking about it. The young man was so receptive of my counsel, you would have thought he was adopting my kid or something!

You'll be back.

They always come crawling back to the LS.

It's the toughest vehicle you will ever love. When something does go wrong, I always find a fix and often something much simpler than a big repair and can even improve the vehicle.
