front wheel noise?
91 LS400
When my car is rolling at about 10 mph or less I hear a noise coming from the right front that sounds like
like something spinning slightly faster than the wheel - like perhaps a universal joint on a driveshaft. The noise is clearly coming from the right front. I have not gotten under the car yet to check it out. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal or is something wrong. Just got the car about a month ago so I am not familiar enough with it to know if this is a new noise or something I just havn't noticed before.

There are no universal joints or shafrs in the front. It is a rear wheel drive car.
Check the following:
- Wheel rubbing on a piece of plastic cover that came off
- Brakepads are loose and rubbing on the rotor
- Brake pads are gone and brake sensor is rubbing on the rotor
- Brake dust cover (metal) is bent and rubbing on the rotor or the rim
- And last, but definately not least, ball bearings are gone and make the noise.
None of these noises however will produce sound that is faster than the wheels turning.
It might also be an engine noise, like belt or PS pump or other accesories on the engine.
