I have come across several sites with polyurethane strut rod bushings but ive found a website which sells the oem rubber but they are labeled strut rod track bushings or lower control arm bushings. Are they the same?

You don't want the poly bushings anywhere, you want OEM rubber. Everyone says poly bushes spoil the ride quality that makes the car so good.
There are tons of threads out there, many with part numbers. This is the most common thing with the car and there's tons of info out there.
I believe the part # is different between 1st and 2nd generation. You can also buy only the bushing and press it in, or buy the whole strut rod with the bushing already in it.
