Default Rear diff

So stock 99 comes with 3.26 or 3.27. can't a different diff be installed? Say 2.72 or 3.08?

keep up to date with it either of those sound good to me , I am thru with power, just mileage...

I got the latter but not the former. But im after that oh so close 30mpg @ 70mph. Id love to cruise @ 70 while doing 1800rpm
