Well, if's going to cost that much money for a starter I will probably rethink my situation but this has been the best ride

Because a lexus dealership charges something like $150 per Hour of labor. The vast majority of that $1000 bill was labor, like $750 of it. Thats where dealerships make their money, I actually work at a Lexus dealership I know where the money is made.
