just bought a 98 LS400 is there an overdrive button somewhere that I can't see? I can't find it in the owner's manual but it is mentioned in said manual??

my ‘97 Coach Edition has 1/2/3/D and no O/D button or switch. Also no TRAC button or switch. Just ECT PWR.

no button on 95-up models.
pressing the button on 90-94 models simply disables the OD, where the trans doesn't go into the last gear.
you just have to move the shifter to the left (on LHD cars) for the next gear down to turn off OD.
that is "3" for 95-97 models, and "4" for 98-00 models.
