Default Help with '99 LS400 Noise

Car is making this strange noise when put into gear coming from in front of the dash/left front engine bay area. Sounds like a "rocks in a tumbler" or popping noise. Doesn't do it in park, when I'm driving, etc., and doesn't do it all the time, either. Really most noticeable in reverse when backing out of my driveway.

Here's a video I just took of it. Notice I'm not moving. You can also here it stop before the end of the video, like I said it doesn't do it all the time or until I put it into a gear.

I've tried searching but can't really seem to find anything similar. Any insight appreciated.

Edit: I know I have a couple cracked vacuum lines and a very tiny power steering leak in the rack but fluid levels are always kept where they're supposed to be. Strut rods, all engine and trans mounts replaced, valve cover gaskets replaced, and a couple other things all done within the last 30k miles. Just trying to rule some things out.

On the 1999 the mirrors on each door are designed to mechanically tilt down when you put it in reverse, it's a feature built into the car designed to help you see curbs when you're backing up. Then when you put it in drive or neutral again they are supposed to tilt back up.
Maybe there is an issue perhaps with that somewhere

Thanks for the input, however the reverse mirror tilt functions normally.
