Will 01-03 & 04-06 LS 430 OEM Coilover Shock assemblies fit LS400?
I have a friend with two LS430s that he is parting out, will the LS430 front & rear shock absorbers fit on my 1998-2000 LS400?

Huh, I'm slightly surprised. I assumed that since the LS430 is an extension of the 400 I'd be able to use the same Coilover shocks. I'm in hunt of the ultimate smoothest suspension for my LS400 and I've heard that the LS430 rides extremely soft, even nicer than the LS460 according to some. I've heard of the KYB excels and others like it but I've they're the same as stock LS400 or stiffer. Looking for ultimate cushyness

If "cushyness" is what you seek then stick with ONLY Toyota / Lexus OE parts. Stay away from anything coilover related and keep in mind tire choice has more of an impact on overall ride comfort than any suspension component
