Default Replacing downstream O2s on 1995 LS

For the 1995, is the harness still accessed by pulling back the rear carpet? If so, can the harness be easily pushed through to the underneath of the vehicle?

Default Replacing downstream O2 sensors on 1995 LS

Does this require lifting the rear carpet to get to the Harness connector? Or was that just older models before 1995?
If so, does the connector easily get pushed through the floor to the underside of the car?

You'll lift the front carpet up and find the grommet by the drive shaft tunnel. Use just a small dab of included copper anti seize about the size of a grain of rice on the threads when replacing the O2 sensor. Far to many YT videos slather to much on and it isn't necessary.

Lex LS's site on this:
http://mirrors.arcadecontrols.com/ww...gensensor.html

I used this type of wrench:
Amazon Amazon

Spray the sensor with some penetrating lubricant and let it sit. So. Cal only cars are easy to get off in most cases. For other areas of the country, you'll have to fight it and it isn't pretty. A dead blow or small sledge will come to mind and be useful, if not pneumatic tools.

Good luck!

Yes absolutely, pull all the carpet out and burn it, just to be sure. And no, you need to drill a hole into the floorpan so the harness can fit through.*

*Disclaimer - the above response is probably not true. I know nothing about the 1995 LS.
