Just wondering, What made you replace all the stated items without knowing what is wrong?

Wondering if you are experiencing the same behaviour as my '93 Car. Car when attempting to overtake under load at say 75mph the car suddenly stutters and I have to fall back. No Engine light and car drives perfectly normally after that and at idle.
Other irritation is that it may do the same if using Kickdown to pull out onto a Highway. Not sure the Car changes down when on a Hill as it should. I'm about to replace front O2 Sensors as mentioned on another forum. LS Cowboy replaced all caps a couple of years ago. Replaced all Plugs and cables and the easily removed Ignition coil but not the difficult one. NO FAULT CODES SHOWING.

Knock sensor? Difficult to replace. Gearbox Solenoid fail? Did you resolve your issue?

I mention the Caps were done by LSCowboy. Didn't replace the lower Coil but as I say - no fault codes on OBD1 reading. So O2 sensors or what? Gearbox Solenoid/s? Real p.i.t.a that I've spent so much time and cash in six years on this Car and still can't fathom the problem, but it should be able to drive over 100mph without issue. Did rev it up the other day to 4krpm but not tried to red line - just not something I will feel comfortable about doing , but..........??? Anyway, on lockdown here in UK so not going anywhere - Doh!

I'd try bypassing the fuel pump resistor.

Thanks - I'll have to find where that is? I have just done another OBD1 check and am getting 25 Lean Fuel mixture code. I'm not sure about the TPS setting but it does register voltage of 5.2v. Could this be a MAF intermittant problem? Don't think the Fuji is cleanable? Maybe the O2 sensor replacement this Tuesday will solve the issues. Fingers crossed. 140k miles 27 years young - could be the same Sensors worn out!
