Upstream oxygen sensor bank 2
Checking Rock Auto and find that Denso items for the 1993 Sensors suggest that they will fit both 89465 24050 and 89465 50010 the down stream.
The image doesn't show a two bolt plate which I gather is on the Upstream Sensors. The length of cable is right but can anyone tell me if once the Sensor has been removed, its possible to unscrew the original Sensor from the Plate and replace with the new Sensor seen on Rock for the item? Otherwise, not found the part number listed anywhere.
Also, the part wouldn't have a long enough length to fit the downstream, and missing the rubber grommet.
Bit puzzled.
Thanks

Checking my notes for my 1991 (probably the same, but you should check), for the upstream O2 sensors (I believe Lexus refers to the upstream ones as the "main" ones), I used:
Denso 234-4211 (Denso is the OE supplier of these parts)
I also used a Denso 234-4000 universal one on the other side. For those that don't know, the difference between those two parts is ONLY in the connector; having both of these in hand at the same time, I can confirm the sensor part looked visually identical between the two. When using the universal one, you cut the cable and crimp/solder the 4 wires to the new sensor. In some cases (e.g., my BMW where the post-cat sensor cables route past the AT and plug in on top of the engine), if one is willing and able to do that, it can make the process a lot easier vs. tracing and removing the whole cable.
Almost forgot - yes, both parts worked perfectly, and still are, 6 years later.
Hopefully these Denso numbers help.
EDIT - also, going through my random parts today, as someone came and bought my car, I came across the original sensors that I removed. They were working fine, BTW, at around 184k miles, I think, when I removed them. One of them shows the cut wires, since I spliced in the universal replacement. The other one shows the full connector intact. Not sure what you mean in your question, but I'm pretty sure nothing else was needed other than that Denso part, whose number matches that shown on the RockAuto page.

Thanks Oldskewel. My problem is that the Sensor should look like this for an MR2. I'm told that the Sensor doesn't unscrew from the plate. Is this correct? If it does then I'm OK with the 50050 item. Not able to remove at the moment but want to get the right replacement part in advance. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293436440748
