I'm quite positive it's a fuel pump problem then. I'd expect fuel trim codes from the stalling but I'm not 100% familiar with the older diagnostic systems and what they can actually tell you. I build old Japanese cars and fix newer German cars..

Well, I really appreciate it. I'm better with older model domestics and older model tractors (with some aircraft experience thrown in there.) I don't have time to repair it till I get another day off... Whenever that may be. I was just wanting to narrow it down before I drop the money and time. I had been leaning towards the pump... But, I can't remember one ever acting like this. They've always just went out.. So, I appreciate all y'alls input and I will let y'all know if the pump fixes the problem. Again, thank you all!

I've seen this with pumps getting hot or the pickup has broken off. Not necessarily the pump itself being bad. They usually die and that's it. Granted, most of the fuel pump issues I've dealt with were because we pushed them further than we should've trying to squeeze more power out. Had a lot of VW's come through that ran over stuff and popped the pickup off of the unit.

well, I'm notorious for pushing equipment further than meant. I've seen pumps blow every fuse and lightbulb multiple times in a Chevy before it went caput.
But, other than that they have always just went out. But, I like learning new things.
