Default 92 LS400 coolant leak

92 LS400 coolant leak, shown in the picture.

Leaks from the end of tube. any advice on stopping coolant leak. I tightened screw, it did not seem to help.

Tightening the screw is just crushing the brittle plastic prob making it worse.

Just replace the hose with a generic hose that's rated for coolant and is the same inner diameter. If you can do it- replace with the actual LS400 replacement part. That's really it. If the heater valve is the culprit, then I would suggest just digging through your local junkyard to get one from the same car to save some money. Otherwise, they are apparently still also available to be purchased. Do a coolant service while you're at it and replace all the fluid in the entire system.

Sadly generic hose will not have the correct metric ID so you won't get a good seal. Genuine Toyota hose will also be pre-bent to avoid any flow restriction.
