Default Oil smoke around pass. exhaust manifold area

1999. Very strong oil smoke at start up around passenger side exhaust manifold area. Anyone know what this could be? The smoke continues at normal operation but not as bad as at start up.
thanks
Rick

If it's not leaking at the cam cover than it's probably a leak in the power steering system.

yea probably a leaking valve cover, it's worse at first since the oil is constantly dripping a bit from it so there's more to burn off at first as it drips onto the exhaust

you should see that it's wet with oil around the valve cover, could simply be a matter of having to re-torque the bolts

are you sure it's oil, or PS fluid?
more common is the latter, but usually it doesn't burn off as it just drips into the alternator then to the ground.
